Changelogs

Release notes with deep links and tag filtering, from two components.

Changelogs

A changelog is a section like any other — by convention a changelog/ folder with an index.mdx — written with two purpose-built components.

<Update>

One release, one <Update>:

<Update label="v2.1.0" description="March 2026" tags={["api"]}>
  ### Added
  - Partial refunds via `POST /refunds`
</Update>
  • label (required) — the version or date; it becomes the entry's anchor, so #v2-1-0 deep-links straight to it.
  • description — small line under the label, typically the date.
  • tags — labels that power filtering when entries are wrapped in <Updates>.

The label column sticks as you scroll the entry — comfortable for long release notes.

<Updates>

Wrap entries to get a tag filter bar, automatically, whenever any entry carries tags:

<Updates>
  <Update label="v2.1.0" tags={["api"]}>...</Update>
  <Update label="v2.0.0" tags={["api", "breaking"]}>...</Update>
  <Update label="Console refresh" tags={["console"]}>...</Update>
</Updates>

Filtering happens client-side and only toggles visibility — anchors keep working and every entry stays in search.
